Cable Termination Kits

A cable termination kit is a set of components used to safely end (terminate) a power cable at a junction point: e.g. switchgear, transformer, panel, substation, or even outdoor poles/boxes.

Termination kits ensure proper electrical insulation, stress control, mechanical protection, and environmental sealing (moisture, dust, UV, etc.), depending on whether the application is indoors or outdoors.

They are used for medium‑ and high‑voltage cables (e.g. 11 kV, 22 kV, 33 kV, even up to 36 kV in many kits) and can handle both single-core and three-core / multi-core cables.

For installations in a Gas‑Insulated Substation (GIS), specialized GIS‑rated termination kits are used. These are compact, designed to fit inside GIS enclosures, and comply with insulation and stress‑control standards required in GIS environments.
